Our arborist will conduct a thorough on-site inspection. We look at your tree's structure, health, and environment, checking for disease, pests, or damage. Do I really need a certified arborist?

Yes. Certified arborists have advanced training in tree biology and safety. They can correctly diagnose problems and apply best practices for care. Is the tree health assessment free?

No. A tree health assessment or consultation is a paid service - you're getting a certified arborist's time, an accurate diagnosis, and a written report of findings and recommendations. Estimates are different. If you want a quote for tree work like trimming, removal, stump grinding, or planting, the estimate is completely free with no obligation, even if you don't end up hiring us.

When do I need an arborist instead of a tree crew?

Call a crew when you already know what needs doing: a limb over the roof, a dead tree, a stump in the way. Call an arborist when the question is why. A tree that is thinning, dropping leaves early, leaning more than it used to, or sitting next to recent construction needs a diagnosis before anyone picks up a saw. It is also the right call before you buy a house with big trees on the lot, and before you take out a tree you are not certain has to go. Plenty of our assessments end with keep it and here is how.

What is TRAQ and why does it matter?

TRAQ is the ISA Tree Risk Assessment Qualification, a separate credential on top of the arborist certification, and Levi Williams holds it. It is a defined method for judging how likely a tree is to fail, what would be hit if it did, and how serious that would be. It turns a hunch into a documented finding, which is what you want when you are deciding whether to spend money on a tree, and what an HOA board or an insurer will ask for in writing.
