How it Works
Our arborist consultation process is simple and customer-friendly:
1. Schedule Your Consultation
Reach out by phone or online to set up a free on-site tree assessment. We’ll ask about your concerns and schedule a convenient time for our arborist to visit.
2. On-Site Tree Evaluation
An arborist inspects your tree in person. We examine the trunk, branches, foliage, roots, and site conditions to identify any disease, pest issues, structural weaknesses, or safety hazards.
3. Receive Recommendations & Quote
After the visit, we provide a clear written report of our findings and a customized care plan. This includes recommendations (pruning, treatments, monitoring, etc.) and an uopfront price quote. You only pay a deposit once you approve the quote and want to get scheduled.

What’s Included
Comprehensive Tree Health Assessments
Each service begins with a detailed inspection. We evaluate your tree’s structure, foliage, root zone, and surroundings to spot any signs of stress, disease, or pests. We'll walk with you and address any and all concerns you have and provide an easy-to-understand assessment.
Pest & Disease Diagnostics
Our arborists look for insect infestations, fungal diseases, and other biological issues. We use current best practices to accurately diagnose the cause of any decline, and we suggest eco-conscious treatments (like targeted sprays or cultural changes) to address infestations or infections.
Hazard & Risk Inspections
Safety is a key focus. We check for cracked limbs, weak forks, root damage, or nearby conflicts (such as power lines or structures). If a tree poses a hazard, we’ll explain safe options. If removal is needed for safety, our team handles it carefully, respecting the rest of your landscape.
Customized Care Plans
Finally, we deliver personalized recommendations. This includes guidance on proper pruning, fertilization, pest management, or future monitoring. We explain every suggestion so you’re fully informed. Our goal is to improve your trees’ health and longevity. We even offer annual membership plans so you can rest knowing that your trees are taken care of year-round by the best.

Common Questions
What happens during an arborist consultation?
Our arborist will conduct a thorough on-site inspection. We look at your tree’s structure, health, and environment, checking for disease, pests, or damage. After evaluating everything, we explain our findings and provide a written report with recommendations for care or treatment, so you know exactly what your tree needs
Do I really need a certified arborist?
Yes. Certified arborists have advanced training in tree biology and safety. They can correctly diagnose problems and apply best practices for care. At Tree Scouts, having an ISA-certified arborist means we use proven methods to prune or treat trees safely and effectively, without causing hidden damage.
Is the tree health assessment free?
Yes and no. Tree Scouts offers free tree health assessments so you get an accurate, no-obligation evaluation and quote of your trees. If you are only interested in diagnosis and not wanting any work done - then we will charge for our time. However, if you're getting a quote for treatment, trimming, removals, planting, stump grinding etc. we won't charge you - even if you end up not using us.
